Mumbai Madness on Trains

Commuters in Mumbai have become worse than animals. One should travel during rush hours to see this ! Pushing and shoving to get in and get out is now beyond the endurance limit and lifer threatening for the weak and feeble hearted to travel by train now.
If only Railways authorities address this problem by enforcing some discipline , things could be a little better.
For instance, the people boarding the train just block the alighting passengers, resulting in a virtual deadlock. Neither people can get out , nor get in. If only there was some discipline enforced by Police on duty and , thru some educative campaigns, to see that first the people alighting are given way , then it becomes so much easier for people to get in.
I noticed in metros in other big cities such as Singapore, London , where people wanting to board wait on the side lines so that doorway for exiting passenger is not blocked, and ensure quick alighting of passengers, and only when the last man has alighted, the people start boarding the train. It is so smooth and painless !! Rush hours in London are also as crowded like our trains. But one need not have to push and shove , shout and abuse as we see here on our trains.
Then there is so much noise , inside, loud talk, singing, banging and what not. It reflects so poorly about our utter disregard for fellow passengers!! In summers and rainy seasons it is hell, having to travel by trains.
